This Wickett & Craig Natural Veg Tan Daniel belt measures 1.5” in width and uses a beautiful leather from the Wickett & Craig Tannery in Pennsylvania, which is just beautiful. It is solid and ready to last a lifetime. This leather will change colour over time and the more you wear it, the more character it will gain (see photo). We punch oval holes, so that they don’t stretch out as easily and maintain the shape of the belt through its lifetime.

All our belts are entirely handmade in our Edmonton workshop. We use the best materials we can find and take care to finish them to look great and last a lifetime, including bevelling and burnishing the edges Belts are finished with a variety of buckle options, be sure to choose the one you like. We use Chicago Screws for a secure fit that also allows you to change the buckle if you find something cool or get bored. All our buckles are solid brass.

**MAKE SURE YOU READ THE MEASUREMENT INSTRUCTIONS. THE SIZE YOU ORDER IS NOT THE SAME AS YOUR PANT SIZE**

How do I size my belt?

There are three ways to size your belt.

  1. The best way to determine your belt size is to measure your current/favourite belt. Measure from the fold in the leather where the buckle is to the hole that you use. This will usually be a few inches more than your pants size, so don’t be alarmed at the measurement.
  2. You can also determine your belt size is when wearing your pants at their normal level on your waist, take a tape measure and find the length around the waistband. This will usually be a few inches more than your pants size, so don’t be alarmed at the measurement.
  3. The most basic way to get the correct size is to add 4" to your pant size and order that size. However, with irregularities in sizing, this method is not always perfect.
Please make sure to double check your belt measurement! I am happy to answer any questions you might have, but the size you order is the size you will receive and custom sized belts cannot be returned unless I made a mistake. If I did make a mistake, please let me know and I will fix it!
